As Organizational Development & HR, she focuses on onboarding, training, and human resources processes ensuring that staff and volunteers feel welcomed, supported, and connected from day one.

Cathrine is the steady hand behind Avani Mobile Mama’s transport and delivery work. She believes that care doesn’t end at assembly it becomes real when every box reaches a family’s doorstep with dignity and safety.

Her role is more than driving routes and managing vehicles; it’s about ensuring families can count on reliable support when they need it most. With attention to detail and a deep respect for the people we serve, Cathrine makes sure every delivery carries not just supplies, but the promise of community care and protective welcome.

I manage supply intake, storage, and box assembly for Avani Mobile Mama, a ministry of Haus of Avani dedicated to supporting new mothers and families. My role is to make sure every care box is prepared with accuracy and intention carrying dignity, wellness, and love into each home it reaches.

With an eye for detail and a heart for community care, I coordinate logistics so that our mission translates into action. For me, it’s not just about packing items it’s about ensuring families feel seen, supported, and respected in moments that matter most.

Jasmine serves as Minister and Cultural Chaplain at Haus of Avani, guiding worship, community care, and spiritual formation. Rooted in her Cuban heritage, she carries forward a deep spiritual completeness drawing from Afro-Caribbean and Latin traditions of faith, resilience, and reverence for the ancestors.

She teaches these practices within Haus of Avani, helping the community connect heritage to healing, and faith to everyday life. Through ceremony, prayer, and cultural wisdom, Jasmine shows how spirituality can be lived fully and shared openly. Her ministry embodies protective welcome: creating spaces where people gather with dignity, honor their roots, and transform together.

Angelisse leads Avani Mobile Mama, Haus of Avani’s ministry of care for new mothers and families. Her work is rooted in the belief that no parent should ever feel alone that dignity, wellness, and community support are sacred rights.

Through Mobile Mama, she connects families with resources, builds trusted relationships, and coordinates programs that nurture both parents and children. From maternal wellness to family bonds, Angelisse turns compassion into daily practice, ensuring that every family finds welcome, safety, and strength within the Avani community.

Kim leads Avani’s Garden School and Family Programs, where children, parents, and neighbors learn and grow through nature-based education. Her work centers on creating safe, creative spaces that nurture curiosity, strengthen family bonds, and connect youth to the land as a source of wisdom and care.

With a focus on safeguarding and community building, Kim designs programs that honor both learning and belonging helping the next generation grow roots in resilience, dignity, and joy.
