  • AIR×Co. is an infrastructure initiative of Haus of Avani focused on transforming how we think about land, energy, food, water and community infrastructure in Cleveland and throughout Cuyahoga County.

    We are interested in the space between an idea and a building.

    What happens when a solar-punk idea becomes a site plan?

    What happens when a community garden becomes food infrastructure?

    What happens when a vacant lot becomes a water-management system?

    What happens when solar panels become a neighborhood microgrid?

    What happens when these systems are designed together?

  • We archive where we come from.
    The Archive branch preserves the history of the places and people around us.

    From local communities and neighborhood stories to historical infrastructure, forgotten spaces, cultural memory, and the Native peoples who were here first and cared for this land long before us.

    We believe understanding the past helps us understand the land we are standing on today. By documenting people, places, ideas, and systems that might otherwise be forgotten, we create a living record of where we came from and what we have inherited.

  • We inspire where we are going.
    The Inspire branch looks toward the future. We want to inspire people to imagine a future where protecting the Earth and caring for one another are part of how we design our communities.

    Through education, creativity, research, demonstrations, and new ideas, we explore what our infrastructure could become from renewable energy and microgrids to food production, water management, ecological restoration, and resilient neighborhoods.

    We believe the future should not simply be something we wait for; it should be something we actively imagine and build toward.

  • We put our beliefs into action.
    The Repair branch is where ideas become physical infrastructure.

    We work to repair and revitalize the environments around us by restoring land, producing food, managing water, generating clean energy, and creating systems that make communities more resilient. Starting with small, practical projects and microgrids, we aim to demonstrate what regenerative infrastructure can look like in real life.

    Repair means taking what we have learned, building what we believe in, and leaving the land and the communities around us better than we found them.

A.I.R x Company Pilot Campus

The Haus of Avani Campus is designed as a pilot project to demonstrate how humans can live in harmony with nature while leveraging technology responsibly.

It shows that technology does not have to harm the environment; instead, it can enhance sustainability, improve efficiency, and deepen our connection to the natural world. Through energy-efficient design, local food production, water recycling, and thoughtful community programming, we aim to operate as close to net-zero as possible, serving as a replicable model for future urban living that is ecologically sound, socially engaging, and resilient.

  • Haus of Avani is a regenerative community campus integrating food access, clean energy, water systems, and cultural programming into a single neighborhood-based model.

    1. The Avani Web

    A structured network that connects local residents, educators, growers, and environmental practitioners with verified resources and programming. The platform will provide access to workshops, toolkits, and community-led knowledge focused on topics such as food access, land use, sustainability practices, and personal well-being. Its purpose is to make reliable, science-informed information and local expertise easy to access and apply in everyday life.

    2. The Avani Campus

    A neighborhood-based site that operates as an active learning and support hub. The campus will host scheduled classes, hands-on workshops, and speaker events led by individuals and organizations working in environmental and community-based fields. It will also provide after-school programming with consistent meal access, giving local youth a safe place to gather, learn, and build practical life skills tied to health, environment, and community participation.

    3. The Avani Gardens

    A designed outdoor space that integrates native meadow landscaping with a small-scale chapel and residential suite. This space will be used for micro-weddings, small ceremonies, and private events, creating a revenue stream that supports the broader mission. The garden design prioritizes low-maintenance, pollinator-supporting plantings and open meadow views, positioning nature as the central feature of the experience rather than decoration.
