A Nature-Rooted Sanctuary
Haus of Avani re-imagines vacant city parcels as living chapels where ecological restoration and inner renewal happen side-by-side.
Instead of pews, we sow prairie wildflowers; instead of stained glass, we raise solar pergolas that shimmer with clean energy.
Every act of planting, harvesting rainwater, or sharing story-circles beneath the moon becomes a devotional practice honoring Mother Nature while nurturing the human spirit.

Why This Matters
Re-greening cities restores life.
Transforming underused land into native meadows, gardens, and growing spaces creates habitats where pollinators, plants, and people can thrive together. These small, intentional spaces reconnect neighborhoods to the natural systems that sustain us.Time in nature supports well-being.
Access to green space has been shown to reduce stress and improve overall mental health. Creating places where people can gather, breathe, and slow down is essential for healthier, more connected communities.Sustainable systems strengthen communities.
By integrating food production, water reuse, and energy-conscious design, spaces like the Haus of Avani Campus show how cities can produce resources locally instead of relying solely on outside systems.Learning makes it last.
When people can see, touch, and participate in how food is grown and how systems work, it builds lasting knowledge. These spaces become living classrooms where elders, youth, and neighbors learn together, keeping traditions alive while inspiring new ways forward.
When land, people, and capital cooperate, everyone wins.

We exist to nurture spiritual and emotional well-being through nature-based wisdom, compassionate guidance, and rhythmic harmony with Earth.
Nature-Based Wisdom – We teach soil science and sun salutations in the same breath, because understanding microbes and honoring morning light both cultivate reverence.
Compassionate Guidance – Trained stewards mentor neighbors, children, and returning citizens alike, turning vacant lots into apprenticeships in hope.
Rhythmic Harmony – Programming follows lunar phases and seasonal thresholds: new-moon intention circles, equinox seed swaps, solstice night markets powered by our own solar arrays.

Haus of Avani Campus (Flagship Pilot)
The heart of the vision a multi-functional campus that brings together:
A small chapel for reflection and ceremonies
The Community Haus Naturhus greenhouse for year-round growing, learning, and gathering
Outdoor spaces for workshops, meals, and community events
This campus serves as a living pilot for a new way of living, where food, water, energy, and community are thoughtfully connected. It is a place where elders and youth learn together, where traditions are shared, and where sustainable systems are experienced in real life.
Avani Gardens
A network of spaces centered around education, growth, and celebration:
Avani Garden School (for kids):
Hands-on learning through gardening, nature exploration, and creative play helping young people build a relationship with the earth from an early age.Chapel & Garden Space:
A peaceful, beautiful setting for small weddings, ceremonies, and gatherings, creating meaningful experiences while generating revenue to support the broader mission.
Together, Avani Gardens nurtures both learning and life moments, supporting the community in ways that are both practical and meaningful.
Avani Rest Stops
Small, thoughtfully designed spaces placed throughout the neighborhood that offer rest, shade, and connection to nature.
Each rest stop is built with practical, sustainable features such as green roofs, native plantings, shaded seating, and solar-powered lighting with charging access. Some locations include a small community fridge to support food sharing and mutual care.
Designed to be simple, affordable, and easily replicable, these spaces transform overlooked lots into welcoming places for pause and connection where neighbors can recharge, gather, and feel supported.
All designs will be made free and accessible, so that any neighborhood can download, adapt, and build their own rest stops expanding a network of care, rest, and community across the city and beyond.

Imagine walking past what was once an empty, overgrown lot and seeing children release monarch butterflies, neighbors charging their phones under a solar pergola, and real-time dashboards showing pollinator populations thriving.
Your support does more than build infrastructure it plants a living legacy for future generations.
“The true meaning of life is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit.” – Nelson Henderson
Regenerative Impact* Every contribution grows biodiversity, community well-being, and climate resilience.
Story Equity* Supporters are recognized through onsite signage and in our annual “Health of the Meadow” report, creating narratives that extend far beyond traditional philanthropy.
Compound Effect* By teaching neighbors to replicate these designs, one funded site can spark many, creating a network of green, thriving spaces across Cleveland and other Great Lakes cities.
